Tamarindo is a popular beach town located on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. It's renowned for its beautiful beaches, excellent surfing conditions, and vibrant nightlife. Tamarindo combines natural beauty with a fun, laid-back atmosphere, making it a favorite destination for beach lovers and adventure seekers.

Entry Requirements

US nationals must have a current valid passport and a return ticket to exit Costa Rica within 180 days.&nbsp;Your passport must be valid for a minimum of one day from the day you enter Costa Rica. You do not need a visa for entry.

Airports & Airlines

The nearest major airport is Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) in Liberia, about an hour's drive from Tamarindo. The Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José is over 5 hours away, WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AIRPORT.

One of the great things about Tamarindo is the variety of places to stay, so you can find something that fits your budget and style. Whether you're looking for a luxury resort, a cozy boutique hotel, AirBnb, or a budget-friendly hostel, Tamarindo has it all. Jesse and I will be staying at the Tamarindo Diria and would love for you to join us! If this hotel is not for you, we recommend a few others in the area, including Diria's sister hotel, Jardin del Eden Boutique Hotel.

This is where Jesse and I will be staying from Saturday July 26th to Sunday August 3rd. It's a large resort and only a 10 minute walk to our venue.
